This morning, Qatar Airways announced that it is expanding its services to the United States. Following its resumption of New York flights later this week, from July 1st, Boston, Los Angeles, and Washington DC will join the airline’s existing Chicago and Dallas operations as it gradually rebuilds its network.
Ramping up its network
According to a press release seen by Simple Flying, this move will allow the flag carrier of Qatar to operate 39 weekly flights to six gateways in the US. Additionally, these services will connect on to hundreds of the nation’s destinations through the firm’s partnerships with American Airlines and JetBlue.
This expansion is part of the state-owned carrier’s rebuild plan. It is resuming flights internationally to over 170 weekly flights in more than 40 destinations. These operations include flight resumptions to six of Qatar Airways’ 10 US gateways.
