Cathay Pacific to operate limited Hong Kong to London Services - Kevin Marshall

Hong Kong carrier Cathay Pacific is to operate a limited service to London Heathrow on a limited basis, to allow some of its passengers to return to the UK.

The airline will operate flight CX251 from Hong Kong to London Heathrow from the 12 January for a limited period.

It will operate the flights on a limited schedule:

  • 12 January
  • 14 January
  • 15 January
  • 17 January
  • 18 January
  • 21 January
  • 24 January

Existing flights from Hong Kong to London Heathrow and Manchester have been cancelled until 10 January. The scheduled flight to Manchester on 15 January has also cancelled.

Meanwhile, all flights departing from the UK to Hong Kong will continue to be suspended until 25 January because of the Hong Kong SAR Government’s entry restrictions.

Cathay Pacific is offering flexibility to its customers, with them being able to make free and unlimited changes to their tickets up to 31 December 2021 or exchange them for Cathay Credits for use at a later date.

Alternatively, customers can cancel their tickets and request a refund.

If you are travelling, the airline is providing free COVID-19 insurance to all passengers who travel onboard Cathay Pacific flights until 28 February 2021.
